Buffalo Springfield – For What It’s Worth

10 11 2007

I’ve been wanting to post this song for some time, but have held back, because oddly enough I didn’t want to offend anyone.  Go figure – me not wanting to offend anyone.  Anyway, this song can be considered an anti-government song.  I can see where some might think that.  However, to me, it’s not an anti-government song – it’s just a really good song.  I’ll agree it makes you think.  I could easily go into a political speach here (I almost did, but stopped myself).  That’s not my style, and not what I want to do with this blog.  This blog is about music, and the enjoyment of music.  Enjoy the song and the video.

Find The Cost of Freedom

10 11 2007

I tried to find a version of this song by Crosby, Stills, and Nash, but couldn’t find one that was of good quality.  This one is at least David Crosby and Graham Nash, with David Gilomore.  It’s a pretty good version.

Lenny Kravitz – American Woman

I liked the original version of this song by The Guess Who, but I like this one much better – it really rocks!

Yes – Roundabout
