We wash a minimum of 2 to 3 loads per day, then the clothes get piled on my desk in baskets.

From the first album after David Lee Roth Left, the title track 5150 is  pretty good song.  It’s my understanding that 5150 is the LA Police Department code for mental patient. Check out the video.

I would have to say finding The Doobie Brother’s very first album (it was not Toulouse Street) was my favorite find at Skip’s.

Waylon Jennings sings Can’t You See

In keeping with his “outlaw country” theme, Waylon Jennings covers Marshall Tucker Band’s Can’t You See.  I really like the version by Marshall Tucker Band, but since I heard Waylon’s version on the radio a couple of weeks ago, I think I might like his version a little better.

I had a link to a YouTube video of Waylon performing Can’t You See.  However, as you’ll notice in the comments, Appearantly it was illegally uploaded to YouTube.  I do not condone illegal uploading or downloading of copyrighted works.  With that in mind, I located a video of Marshall Tucker Band performing the song.  I hope it isn’t copyrighted, and wasn’t uploaded illegally.  Here it is.

Bart Millard, Mercy Me’s lead singer wrote this song after his father lost a long battle with lung cancer.  He was thinking that his dad gets to be with Jesus now, and wondering what it was like.  Here’s a full story on the writing of the song.  Click here to see Mercy Me’s video.  This is a pretty good video of the song, too.
